Rahabilitation and de-adiction programmes are the one of the best activities of vedike among other functions. Vedike would diagnose and indentify badly addicted alcoholics and involve then to community treatment de addiction camps with the support of public involment, monitory aid also availing community resources, providing then treatment, counseling, rehabilitate then morally, physically, spiritually and to establish then stable to the society, are the aim of the Vedike. De-addiction method of alchohalics would be made in a special modern way than the prevailing de-addition method by the Vedike. An opportunity would be granted to the alcoholics to stay with their family members daily at their home place, with short period of without expenditure. Opportunity will be created to strength then the social bond among the de-additions and to lead a respectful life. Awareness is to be created that alcoholism is a global evil deuase  and to create responsibility family dependency maintenance obligations are the objective of the Vedike. A eight long day long programmes would lead the benificaries to establish a new pattern of life and rehabilitation. These programmes would include meditation (yoga), dhyana (Minding), Vyayama (Exercise), thinking (Chintane) group discussion, family councelling, information, debate, group activities, prominent advise, cultural, personal advise, games, treatments, prayer like activities. A family day, Bajana farewell day, camp fire, burning of demo Madhyasura, farewell ceremony, self profiling etc etc will be the activities of the Vedike. Open entry admission is available to the General public for training, discource and information programmes in which morethan 15,000 persons can be benefited by availing awareness by these camps, irrespective of cast creed and community.

A minimum of 40 and a maximum of 80 alcoholics will be admitted for treatment of the programme directly, rather than direct involvement in the de-addition treatment, the viewers of the camp indirectly would renounce the bad habit with help of observation itself, would benefit.Three times more of the people above are the motivated benificiaries of the camp.

Dr. D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala is prominent guest of number of these programmes. An approximate of Rs.2,00,000/- will be the expenditure for each programmes like this, same are raised from the general public of the place where the progrmammes conducted. Taluk Jana Jagruthi Vedike or sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development programmes would provide the fund incase any deficit in the proposed expenses. Local people themselves supervise and take up incharge of the entire activities by having a De-addiction management committee, they will make it success the programme.

A total of 914 camps for more than 60,481 people were conducted in treatment camps for successful de-addiction (upto March 2016). Popularity also gained by conducting de-additction camps for women and also for the person having history of criminal record.
